This is Step 1 of my magazine cover, it includes the Masthead, Selling Line, Skyline and barcode.

My Album (Back)

This is my back cover for my album, it carries on the themes of love, with the stylised hearts placed around the tracklist.
The area around the tracklist, images and other text has been coloured red to make the area less boring and more futuristic and modern, but different to other album backs around.
The tracklist font is quite simple but the simpleness suits the style of the album and i preferred the simple look because its easier on the eye.
The names of the tracks are track names that you would find on common R&B albums, I put my favourite artists in the featuring tracks to make my album seem more authentic, I also added a barcode, smallprint, and a home made record label 'Kasha Productions'.

Kasha - Battlefield Of Love (Album Front Cover)

This is my Rap/R&B album that I developed through Photoshop.
I named the album 'Battlefield Of Love' because i heard the lyric from my favourite artist (Lil Wayne's) song and thought it would go well with the theme of my album which is focused around love and women.
The (Young Money) record label on the back of the hoodie has been superimposed and I used the smudge tool so i could blend it in with the colour and crease lines of the hoodie, this was the only hard part of the cover because it was tricky to get the colour and the look right.
The background is white because its makes only the important features stand out, such as the Main Image, Artist name, Album name and Record Labels.
I linked the love with the colour red because this is the main colour associated with love and passion, I made black, white and red the main colours because its simple but looks effective and it fits in well with the genre of music that I am portraying.
